K-콘텐츠의 글로벌 주류화: 디지털 시대 한류의 문화경제적 영향력 분석

본 연구는 한류의 세계 시장에서의 영향력을 경제적, 문화적, 산업적 차원에서 종합적으로 분석한다. 1997년부터 2024년까지 약 25년에 걸친 한류의 발전 과정을 4단계로 구분하여 각 단계의 특성을 분석하였으며, 2024년 기준 151억 8,300만 달러의 총수출액과 37조 6,195억 원의 생산유발효과를 통해 한류의 경제적 중요성을 입증하였다. 아시아, 유럽, 북미, 남미, 중동 지역의 한류 확산 패턴을 분석한 결과, 한류는 동심원적 확산 구조를 보이며 각 지역에서 상이한 특성을 나타냈다. 한류의 성공 요인으로 감정의 섬세한 표현, 높은 제작 수준, 한국적 요소와 글로벌 보편성의 결합, 팬덤 생태계의 형성을 도출하였다. 정부의 체계적 정책 지원과 CPND 생태계 구축이 한류 발전의 필수 조건임을 확인하였으며, 플랫폼 중심 시장 구조의 한계, 창작 생태계 강화, 콘텐츠 다양성 확보, Next K 전략 추진 등 지속가능한 발전 방안을 제시하였다.

This study comprehensively analyzes the impact of Korean Wave (Hallyu) in the global market from economic, cultural, and industrial perspectives. The development of Korean Wave over approximately 25 years from 1997 to 2024 is categorized into four stages, and the characteristics of each stage are analyzed. The economic importance of Korean Wave is demonstrated through total export value of $15.183 billion and production-induced effects of 37.6195 trillion won as of 2024. Analysis of Korean Wave diffusion patterns across Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and the Middle East reveals concentric diffusion structures with distinct regional characteristics. Success factors include delicate emotional expression, high production standards, combination of Korean elements with global universality, and fan ecosystem formation. The study confirms that systematic government policy support and CPND ecosystem construction are essential conditions for Korean Wave development, and proposes sustainable development strategies including addressing platform-centric market structure limitations, strengthening creative ecosystems, securing content diversity, and implementing Next K strategy.
