어린이 미디어에 표현된 자폐성 장애아동의 사회적 상호작용 및 의사소통 특성 분석과 교육적 지원 방안

본 연구는 텔레비전, 영화, 애니메이션 등 어린이 미디어에 표현된 자폐성 장애아동의 사회적 상호작용 및 의사소통 특성을 분석하고, 가정과 학교에서 적용 가능한 구체적인 교육 지원 방안을 제시한다. 미디어 속 자폐성 장애아동은 공동주의의 어려움, 예측 가능성 선호, 관심 주제 중심의 관계 맺기, 비구어 신호 해석의 부담, 대화 상호성의 어려움 등을 보인다. 본 연구는 이러한 특성들이 아동의 내부 특성뿐만 아니라 환경과의 상호작용 결과임을 강조한다. 지원 방안으로는 시각적 구조화, 또래 매개 중재, 상황이야기, 비디오 모델링, 기능적 의사소통 훈련, 보완대체 의사소통, 감정 및 감각 조절 지원을 제시한다. 특히 주변의 언어와 환경 조절을 통해 아동이 의사소통의 효과를 경험하도록 돕는 것이 핵심임을 강조한다.

This study analyzes the characteristics of social interaction and communication of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) as portrayed in children's media including television, films, and animations, and presents specific educational support strategies applicable in home and school settings. Children with ASD in media demonstrate difficulties in joint attention, preference for predictability, interest-based relationship formation, challenges in interpreting non-verbal signals, and difficulties in conversational reciprocity. This study emphasizes that these characteristics result from both the child's internal traits and interactions with the environment. Support methods include visual structuring, peer-mediated intervention, social stories, video modeling, functional communication training, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and emotion and sensory regulation support. The study particularly emphasizes that helping children experience the effectiveness of communication through environmental and language adjustments by those around them is key.
