축산 스마트팜의 축종별 ICT 기술 적용 체계 및 발전 방향: 소, 돼지, 닭을 중심으로

본 연구는 축산 스마트팜의 발전 단계와 축종별 기술 적용 특성을 분석한다. 축산 스마트팜은 IoT, 빅데이터, AI 등 첨단 ICT를 축산업에 융합하여 생산성과 부가가치를 향상시키는 기술 체계로, 1세대 원격 모니터링에서 3세대 로봇·무인 자동화 통합 제어로 진화해 왔다. 소 스마트팜은 개체당 경제적 가치가 높아 RFID 이표와 볼러스 센서를 활용한 개체별 정밀 관리와 발정 감지, 로봇 착유 기술이 핵심이다. 돼지 스마트팜은 대규모 공장식 사육 특성상 축사 환경 제어와 군 단위 관리에 초점을 두며, 환경 가스 센서와 자동 환경 제어 기술이 중요하다. 닭 스마트팜은 수만 수 동시 사육으로 축사 단위 환경 제어, 환기 시스템 자동화, 방역 관리가 강조된다. 세 축종 모두 IoT 센서, 자동화 구동기, 통합 관제 플랫폼을 공유하되, 축종의 생리적 특성과 사육 방식에 따라 기술 적용의 초점이 차별화된다.

This study analyzes the development stages of livestock smart farms and species-specific characteristics of technology application. Livestock smart farms represent a technological system that integrates advanced ICT such as IoT, big data, and AI into livestock farming to enhance productivity and added value. These systems have evolved from first-generation remote monitoring to third-generation integrated robot and autonomous automation control. Cattle smart farms prioritize individual precision management using RFID ear tags and bolus sensors, with estrus detection and robotic milking technology being critical. Pig smart farms focus on barn environment control and group-level management due to large-scale factory farming characteristics, emphasizing environmental gas sensors and automatic climate control. Chicken smart farms manage tens of thousands of birds simultaneously, prioritizing barn-level environment control, automated ventilation systems, and disease prevention management. While all three species share IoT sensors, automated actuators, and integrated control platforms, technology application focuses differ based on species-specific physiological characteristics and farming methods.
